Bee Inspired Small Wind Turbine
It’s still in beta, and there are a few “bugs” to be worked out, but check out this video and you’ll have a good understanding of what they are trying to produce.
The inventors, Greenwavelength, are hoping to eventually produce models capable of producing from 1kW up to 10kW in size.
It will be interesting to see what the physical size of a 1kW producing turbine, turns out to “bee”. As well, I have to wonder about the stress placed on the levers in this design. If they can find a design that doesn’t produce noise and doesn’t require to much space, maybe they can find an urban market? Time will tell.
