DIY Wind Turbine Projects – New York
DIY Wind Turbine projects continue to grow in popularity. A simple, four foot wind turbine, made with a DC motor and PVC blades, can be assembled in an afternoon, once you have the parts. Larger DIY wind turbines, with DIY flux generators, will take more time. However, the results are usually that much better.
New York – we are looking for information on DIY wind turbine projects in the New York area. If you have recently built your own wind turbine, use the feedback page to tell us about it. Be sure to give us and email address where we can contact you.

I´m a student of Industrial engineer. I´m studying about wind turbine of low power in special: outline blades based in tubes. I am looking for some information about this and if it is possible, could you help me?
I have seen that you make and you sell generators which these blades are based on a tube.
I would know if the measures that you use to make the blades come from your investigations or you take it in others investigations?
I want to ask if you know where I can obtain more information.
Thank you for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully
Hello Daniel,
We don’t sell anything at GreenTerraFirma, we just share information, free of charge. The DIY generator and wind turbine designs you find here, are based on the experience of our followers and our own experience in building these items. The measurments for the PVC blades have been made through trial and error mostly. I would recommend you read:
