Earth Day 2008 - What are you doing?
What are you doing on Earth Day April 22, 2008?
There are several things you can do on April 22nd to help mother earth. Many are already listed on this site in other posts such as 16 No Cost Ways To Help The Environment. But for Earth day you need to do something special. Certainly this would be a great day to Plant-A-Tree. This can be a fun activity for the whole family. Hopefully you’ll all thing about Earth Day in the future, when you happen to notice it growing there. No place to plant a tree? Check out the neighbourhooh for special Earth Day activities. Many local groups spend this day cleaning up the parks and river banks (whatch the water levels!) and planting trees in public areas. You could also spend the day building homes for your fine feather friends (birds). Most important - Get Involved.
