Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day
With everyone thinking green on Monday March 17th for St. Paddy’s Day, why not take it a step further. Since you might be hoisting a pint or two on the 17th, start by leaving the car at home and taking public transit, car pool, bike or walk. Cooking up a pot of haggis? Use the toaster over. It’s much cheaper than heating a large oven, and who wants more than a small taste of haggis anyway! One “green” thing NOT to do, is put green food colouring in everything. It doesn’t enhance the flavour, and if you want green go the natural way, with green fruit and veggies.
