Hand Sanitizer vs Soap
Hand Sanitizer vs Soap
Which works better against H1N1 and other germs and bacteria? In an informal study, it was fou
nd that alcohol based sanitizers worked the best, to eliminate germs and bacteria. You need to use a sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol and use enough sanitizer that it takes 15-20 seconds before it dries.
Soap also works well to remove germs and bacteria. With soap you need to wash at least 20 seconds. Most people only rise for 5 seconds. And regular soap works almost as well as anti-bacterial soap. Thus, the experts would prefer that people use regular soap rather than anti-bacterial soap…. they feel people using anti-bacterial soap will not wash for the full 20 seconds needed and that germs and bacteria will eventually develop immunities to the chemicals in the anti-bacterial soaps.
