Oil Companies Rape Consumer - blame Ike

The price of crude oil continues it’s downward spiral to levels not seen for six months. Yet the oil companies raise the wholesale price and price at the pump to heights not see before! Of course the huge profits go right into their pockets.

Let’s blame Ike? Yes, another of many hurricanes is heading towards Texas. Yes, some of the refineries are

shut down for a few days as a precaution. However, there is plenty of supply in the chain and reserves have been set aside for this very purpose.

Today’s huge gasoline price spike is not a fault of Ike. It’s pure greed by oil companies that only care about their bottom line and how much money they can squeeze out of YOU.

Note: price increases have taken place all across North America today - Northern States and all of Canada. Refineries only supply a designated area. There is no reason for pump prices to rise in the norther states or Canada because refineries in Texas have closed for a few days.
